Glad to be part of the new climbing book named #cliffhanger from #gestaltenbooks. This book features great stories and pictures all around the #climbing world. I took part as a photographer for the article about #Makatea when I joined Maewan on this truly amazing adventure. Hope that it will help this incredible island to rise up again!

I am very proud to finally present the full version of "The Sounds of Water" (Les Chants de l'Eau).

This is by far my biggest film production ever!! It took 11 months to film and conduct 80 interviews in 9 languages, as well as 2 years of editing and 5 years overall for us to produce this 52-min self-financed documentary on our own.

Through "The Sounds of Water", Perrine and I want to build greater awareness about our relationship with water, to encourage viewers to think about how treat and use this essential resource. This open-minded, uplifting film does not moralize or judge and offers people from all over the world the chance to tell their story.

Feel free to share this movie; it was made to be seen! If you want to provide feedback, leave us a comment on the YouTube link, I guarantee that we will reply! Thank you again for your support, and see you soon.

Très beau documentaire

Beautiful documentary, great images and beautiful songs. Makes you appreciate so much more how vital water is and how lucky we westerners are with our comfortable life. Great to also see some paragliding faces in!

To help you pass the time during the current stay-at-home period, the "Pathan Project" team has decided to make their movie available for free during the lockdown (in France). As of now, the movie is available online through April 15, 2020. If you would like to provide support to the Belgian team of climbers (Sean Villanueva, the Favresse brothers, Jean-Louis Wertz….) for their upcoming adventures, you can also watch several of their other movies (through VOD) via the ReelHouse website. We hope that you are all doing well and that the end of the tunnel is near. Take care!

How does one attempt to describe the truly unique Polynesian island of Makatea? This ring of coral shoots one-hundred meters straight up out of the ocean, has blissful turquoise-blue waters surrounding its shores, houses an incredible diversity of flora and fauna, and offers breathtaking landscapes. However, abandoned phosphate mines and equipment also paint an accurate picture of the island. Today, through a collaborative project between the non-profit Maewan and the island’s inhabitants, Makatea has been offered the chance to develop a more sustainable, ecotourism based economy through the sport of climbing.

▶️ Relase of the full-movie:
- Premiere in July during the Arc'teryx Alpine Academy (Chamonix);
- International Films Festivals (2020/2021);
- Free release on internet in September 2020;
